Avalon Hotel is as central as you can get. We are situated at the beginning of the main boulevard named "Avenyn".
Avalon Hotel was built during the summer of 2007.

Everything is close at hand ranging from shopping and entertainment to culinary and cultural delights.

All our rooms are equipped with the latest technology and modern facilities that cater for the demanding traveller. Avalon's role is to ensure your entire visit is memorable.

Everything is close at hand ranging from shopping and entertainment to culinary and cultural delights.

The atmosphere at Avalon is centred on a relaxed, elegant interior that allows you to be yourself. Our choices strengthen that feeling and reflect our soul. We combine clean design, art and architecture in a personalised way.

The outdoor pool on the roof, boasting a big terrace and a wonderful view over the city, is opened for all guests during the summer season from 12:00 until 18:00 (subject to availability).

Deep down you’ve probably always wanted to stay at Avalon Hotel. It’s just that we didn’t exist before.

Room information

Avalon Hotel has a personalised and meticulously decorated interior. The rooms are spacious and well planned.

All rooms have white washed oak or travertine stone flooring.

We know that our guests prefer different types of pillows so we provide four different pillows for each bed.

All rooms offer wireless internet free of charge which make it easier to be able to work. Each room contains a 26-inch LCD TV (compatible with laptops, cameras and MP3 players), a DVD player and 21 free view TV channels.

You’ll find bathrobes and slippers in every room that will help you to lay back and relax.

Very nice rooms although not as big as I thought they would be and
no view, the breakfast is fantastic though, and the staff were
very helpful.

For this standard of hotel you expect everything to be 100% however
there were a few minor things that were a dissapointment such as the
back of the tv remote control being missing, a plug for the sink
missing, and a couple of things that appeared to be broken from the wall
in the bathroom.Worst thing is getting to the hotel, there are too many
one way streets in Gothenburg!

The staff and facilities were excellent

For the price we paid I expected an even better hotel, but I suppose the
