Hotel information

Inspired by the love story from the movie Casablanca, the hotel creates an intimate and elegant atmosphere for guests. This popular boutique hotel features a wide variety of lavish amenities. Guests at the Casablanca can take advantage of complimentary access to the nearby New York Sport's Club, located only moments away, or relax with a book from the hotel's complimentary library, complete with movies, books, music and newspapers.

Food & beverage

Guests at the Casablanca Hotel can enjoy traditional New York Italian favorites at Tony di Napoli, located on-site. This historic Italian restaurant features family style dishes, serving 2 to 3 people.

Rick's Café is also located on-site, on the hotel's second floor. Guests can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, featuring pastries, bagels, fruit, assorted cereals and beverages, all in front of the large fireplace.

In the evening, a complimentary wine and cheese reception is help inside the café. There is also complimentary espresso, cappuccinos, cookies and fruit available all day.

Breakfast is available daily.

Room information

All guestrooms are soundproof and feature custom-made furnishings as well as luxurious Baroness Cali Tarocco bath amenities.

Area information

With Times Square only steps away from the Casablanca, the hotel provides the perfect starting point for exploring the city. The Empire State Building, numerous museums, renowned restaurants, luxury shopping districts and a vibrant nightlife are only moments away from the hotel.

A variety of public transportation is also easily accessible, allowing guests to experience all areas of the city.

Casablanca Hotel is now smoke-free. There are no designated smoking areas inside, although smoking is still permitted in any outdoor location such as the Blue Parrot Courtyard adjacent to Rick’s Cafe. Smoking inside a hotel guest room will result in a mandatory clean up charge of USD 200 to be posted to your guest room.

*Guests must be 21 years old or accompanied by a parent to stay at the hotel.

Reservations for November and December require seven days advance notice of cancellation, or 100% of the room and tax will be charged.

The Casablanca staff was extremely helpful and very kind. Rick's Cafe was a pleasure for both breakfast and especially for the wine and cheese buffet in the afternoon. The piano player was a nice surprise which added a delightful ambience. The rooms are small but tastefully designed with very nice ammenities and extremely quiet. Superb location!

friendly helpful staff, comfortable hotel lounge with free coffee/pastries and free cheese & wine 5-8pm (not Sun). Great location just yards from Times Square. Just a fantastic place to stay

booking.com doesn't take payment on reservation - in our case this meant we paid far more than anticipated due to currency rate change

The best hotel experience I have ever had. Marvellous staff, good breakfast, always something to eat and drink in Rick´s Cafe. Quiet rooms, luxury bathrooms, cleaning every day, very polite staff, the best situated hotel in town right in the middle of everything. If I ever go back to New York I will absolutely go back to this hotel. Stayed 5 nights with my sister in November 2008.

Very good comfortable hotel, excellent value for New York as well as good complimentary breakfast and cheese and wine evenings. Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help. Room kept very clean.

Nothing we did not like, just suggestions..steam extraction in the bathroom would be an improvement though the ceiling fan meant that this was not a big problem. Also as there are no in room coffee facilities it would have been nice to have bottled water in the room every day instead of the wonderful complimentary choclate bars!

The position of the hotel was very good and within walking distance of most tourist attractions.

Our room was hot on occassions and it was a small.

Location excellent, near subway which used all the time. Staff helpful and not overbearing. Wine and cheese evening a great idea and gave time for much needed relaxation after your day.

All the taxes! All hotels in NYC have these though.

Great location only few steps from the Times Square, pampering Rick's Cafe offering complimentary tea and coffe 24 hours a day + wine & cheese in the afternoon, also free internet including possibility to print is a significant added value.

Room, bathroom and even bed itself were very small.

Generally, a very peaceful sanctury only 10 metres off times square/broadway. Staff were excellent.

Like most 'lowrise' hotels (only 6 storeys) in such a fine location, nights can be noisy in the city that never sleeps so ask for a quiet room.

Yes. We were also upgraded to a King room. The extras such as the Cheese and Wine in the evening and complimentary breakfast, turn down service and excellent staff attentiveness make all the difference. Also, there are no 'extras' to pay ie internet, room service etc.
